Duration: Between 6 and 9 minutes.

The World Premiere will occur in March 2027 by Consortium Leader, Scott Brown, afterwards all consortium members will have a 1 year exclusivity period (April 2027-2028) where they can perform the work and have the to list themselves as a consortium member giving a premiere of the work in all programs and announcements.

Technical Requirements

In order to perform this piece you will need the following:
1. A computer capable of running Max/MSP with the accompanying patch.
2. A microphone with some form of audio interface to connect to your computer and speakers.

3. A pair of stereo speakers.
4. A device able to be programmed to the Spacebar (ASCII Key Value 32) to trigger the cues and the Return/Enter Key (ASCII Key Value 13) such as a Bluetooth Page Turner or iKKEGOL progammable foot switch. (Affiliate Link)

The Oceans of Time Consortium will be broken into two different tiers:

    Student - $30 USD​

    Professional - $45 USD

To qualify for the Student tier you will need to provide both your student email and a photo of your student ID in the form here. Please note: You may anonymize your student ID number if you wish. These photos will be used to confirm your student status and then deleted afterwards.

All members will receive the following benefits:

  • Name of Consortium Members and affiliated institution(s) listed in the score and program note.

  • Right of performer to list themself as consortium member giving premiere of the work in all programs and announcements.

  • A one year exclusivity period (April 2027-2028) of being able to perform the work.

  • A zip file containing the PDF of the score and the accompanying Max Patch.
